Tired...antsy, but back! Now I have to live on liquids...and get that all mapped out... Lots to tell when I have steadier hands. I had to stay on one extra night - had a tough time with the protein shakes...came home after 3 today. Colleen was scheduled to come home today and I think Henry was supposed to leave as well. THANKS to everyone who came to visit, called, left messages, gifts, things I would need. It was an awesome outpouring if suppport. Which deserves more of a write-up- which I will do as soon as possible. Had to say thanks! It was like nothing I had seen before - even the owner and one of the ladies from Curves came to see me. Plus all of the support on the boards as well! Can't sit in this chair too long... I will write more soon! THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPPORT and to Dr. Aranow, Eileen Tobin and all of the staff that took such good care of me.. Very happy to be alive ...and the journey begins again! Nancy

Welcome back ! Take your time adjusting to your new way of eating. Keep sipping your water, crystal light, decaf tea, and whatever else you can handle to keep hydrated. Suger free ice pops were a lifesaver for me. Your going to love the "Journey" so best of luck! Take Care, Julio

Hi Peter, It's those "Transitions" lenses that give me that look. Got tired of switching back and forth from regular glasses and sunglasses. I never used to wear black before because it always made me feel too hot but now that I've lost a bit of weight it doesn't bother me any more. Funny the little changes we go thru as we proceed along our "Journey". Will have you know, I'm a softy that to this day canno****ch "Old Yeller" and not cry in the end. LOL Have a great day! Julio

Everyone pre-op tries all the shakes and wonders why they have problems afterwards. Now youknow. Glad the trip has started on a new bench. It will be more comfortable REAL soon. See you soon at the meetings. Peter

Hi Nancy, I am glad to see your home. I had a feeling when I stopped in to say goodbye that you might stay. The shakes are so nasty. I am having a hard time getting them down now. I dread everytime meal time rolls around. But you do what you have to do right. So glad to see your doing better. Give me a call if you feel like talking. Hugs, Chrissy
