Support Groups & Party

Hi, All! Can you believe that it's already December?! Since next week is the 1st full week of Dec., there are 3 support group meetings. At Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, the meeting on Mon., 12/5, is mandatory (1 time) for pre-ops only. Dr. Kim Daniels, psychologist, and Elina Schwartz, dietician, present info. for Dr. Aranow's patients. It's from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Hamden Support Group (which meets at the Senior Center, behind the Miller Library, on Dixwell Ave.) isn't affiliated with any doctor or hospital. It's run by a couple of post-ops and is open to all pre- or post-ops. Normally it's from 6:30 - 8 p.m., but on Mon., 12/5, there's going to be a holiday party before the meeting, so it'll be from 6 - 8 p.m. A high-protein, low-carb buffet will be served, with people bringing their own beverages. It's $7 per person. You can pay at the party, but if you want to come, please e-mail me ASAP so that we can be sure to have enough food for all. Tues., 12/6, is the 1st Tues. of the month, so that'll be the night for Middlesex Hospital's monthly post-op only support group meeting.
