I understand that it really depends on your BCBS policy, but I have BCBS through my employer. I did the seminars and the paperwork for authorization was submitted last Monday. They had the authorization by tuesday afternoon.

If you are going to Dr Valin, we are probably having our surgery in the same place. I chose Dr Yood based on many recommendations and personal knowledge from my prior work as a Patient Advocate.

Good luck!

I also work at Mohegan Sun. It took me a little over a week and half to get my approval letter in the mail from when they submitted me for authorization.

I just followed all of the doctor's steps..did all the required tests and got the letter from my primary care.

it definitely wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Good luck!
