PAssed my TEst!!!!

Hi Everybody, I haven't posted in a while lots going on but I went to Dr. Yood's office yesterday along with my husband for the ketosis test. Well We both passed with flying colors. He lost 17lbs and i lost 9 lbs. Next step is Insurance submission. Then a date. I can't believe we are so close!!

What is the ketosis test? I haven't had to do this. Why did dr require this? Congrats on passing it. ~Chrissy

Hi Chrissy, A ketosis test is a test in which you do a week of all protein to see if your body can tolerate it. Then your surgeon gives a urine test to find out if your in ketosis. Not all the surgeon's require it, but our group at St Raphael's does. Hugs KimC
