Speaker at 11/21 Meeting

Hi, All! I posted about this last week, but I thought I'd remind you about the Nov. 21st support group meeting in Hamden. That's the 3rd Mon. of Nov. (2 weeks from Mon.) and there'll be meetings that night in both Middletown and Hamden. The Hamden meeting (at the Senior Center behind the Miller Library on Dixwell Ave. from 6:30 - 8 p.m.) will feature a speaker, Terria Linn. Terria has spoken at the meeting before (at least twice that I know of). She's a therapist and some of the members of the group are patients of hers. She has a special insight into what we face because she herself was lapbanded and lost 300 lbs.! I've been told that she'll probably be speaking about body image. The Hamden group isn't affiliated with any doctor or hospital and is led by a couple of post-ops. Everyone (pre- or post-op along with friends/significant others) is welcome.
