NORDIC WALKING CLASS

Hi Everybody, For people who lives near New london area, If you are interesting to sing up this class then look more details about the class where I am taking this class start on Oct 29th at Rocky Neck State Park in Niantic. My trainer Glo is teachign the class with her partner, Axel. www.nordicwalkacademy.com If you do not know what Nordic walking is and there is wwebsite to show what it looks like. Nordic Walking uses specially designed poles to work the upperbody while walking. Like cross country skiing, poles are used to propel the body forward. The techniique is a simple enhancement of a norma; arm swing when walking. The sport can be performed all year around on any surface, grass,asphalt, off road trails, snow and beaches. Already over 30 million Europeans practice this sport enthusiastically and a predicted 20 million Americans will start to do Nordic Walking i nthe next 2 years. It burns up 40 % more calories than regular walking. Hey Kathy, I just got back from the Hairdresser and I saw an article about Nordic Walking in the October issue of Shape Magazine. It looked like you can burn alot of calories while doing this. I wish I was up in that area because it sounds like fun. I'm not sure if I would do it on my own.....it's a bit too funny looking for my taste...but if I was with a group, I would feel much more comfortable. Hope you have a blast. God Bless, Kelly

Kelly & Kim, I wish both of you will lvie near my area and it will be more fun to have all of us to do exercise in smae class! If both of you drive long distance every saturdays for this class then both of you are still welcome to join with me. Kelly... Hey Kathy, It sounds wonderful, I wish I lived closer I would love to attend these classes with you. Hopefully they will do some of that down our way. Good luck with the new class.
