Finally......I have been on a plateau for the last 2 weeks at least....So now, according to my home scale, I have lost a total of 100 lbs...I am so excited!!!! I lost 15 lbs before the surgery and 85 lbs after surgery... so my stats are : 325/310/225/189 Weight at first consult/day of surgery/now/goal It's taken me a long time to figure out a goal weight...Doctor A. said he expected me to get to 209 lbs..I want to lose at least 20 more than that I went for a size 24,26,28, to 14/16...( I am 5'10") I definitelly see a difference when I excersize...I took a break for the last 3 weeks, and thus the plateau...now I am walking again and...poof...scale is moving..I plan to go back to the gym this weekend as well, now that I am feeling better (had a nasty sinus infection on top of the lack of motivation...)..I feel pretty good, although I wish I had more energy! I am also upping up my protein, and I bet that is also helping.... well, I now only have 36 lbs to goal, and I hope to get a nice leather jacket for Christmas that does not have an x in front of the size. Talk to you later, Love, Dorota

Dorota, CONGRATS!!! You've done SO great! It seems your stats are almost like mine, and Dr Aranow told me he wanted me to get to about 209 also, but I want to get to 175 if possible!!! Keep up the good work! Paula

Thank you Paula....You know, originally I thought I wanted to get to 174 (normal BMI)...but considering that I am the same size now as I was at about 205 lbs about 17 years ago,(inches, not just size), I think that 189 may be just right.. I would like to be a 10/12.....I think with my build that would be fantastic...Right now I do have my sights on the 209 as my next goal, that will make me overweight... This whole journey is so overwhelming sometimes.....but I am so happy I made this decision......!!!

Thank you Nancy....It's all happening so much faster thatn I expected...Of course, the weightloss has slowed down significantly, which is a good thing....My brain needs some time to catch up to my body..... Thank you for responding, Love, Dorota
