To all of my dear Connecticut friends. I am ashamed to admit this. I have lost my weight loss drive. I am 4 months out and I have lost 61 lbs- but I can't see it. It is really doing a job on my self esteem that everyone says how great I look and I can't see it!!! I'm slipping into old bad habits- carbs, carbs, carbs. I know I need to exercise but I cannot get the energy to do it. I know I'm due to see Kim and I will call her office tomorrow... Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me? Suggestions as to how I can get myself motivated again? I need to get back on the wagon- I have fallen HARD. Love to all, Robin 285/224/150

Hey Robin, I understand exactly what you are going through. You need to think about the long term effects this will have on you if you let it get out of control. Don't mess up a wonderful gift you have now. You need to get back on the horse and start over with being strict again with your eating. When you get the urge to eat bad stuff, take a walk call someone to chat with or get on the computer and type away to all of us here. I am going on 9 months and I am stuck at a point where I am starting to get discouraged, but I am trying to stay focused and positive knowing I have come this far and not to mess it up. You will do it, I know you can. I am praying for you and I am here if you need a shoulder at any time. Hugs KimC

Robin, I am sorry you are feeling this way. I think you are doing a great thing by making an appointment to see Kim. It is hard to see yourself the way others see you. 61 pounds is a wonderful weight loss! The only words of advice I can think to give you is to follow the rules of the pouch. Eat your protein first and fill up on that before you reach for a carb. Keep those carbs out of the house if they are too tempting. Drink lots of water between meals to make you feel full too. Sugar free popcicles are a great thing to reach for when you feel like snacking and count toward your fluids!! It is hard to make that 1st step to get exercising. Just promise yourself 10 minutes to walk or do part of a video --- anything that you think you can do that won't be too overwhelming just to get started. You can do it Robin.... You are already on your way. Don't get discouraged.... Make that appointment with Kim and get back on track. Keep us updated okay? Hang in there! terri
