Joanie,
You beat me this morning
since I am morning person and always post our Food/Exercise log beore you ! WINK! Thank you for posting my one year anniversary on this board!!!
I looked back when I went for surgery. I was all emotion mixed feelings (Nervous, Crying, Excited and worry) before I laid down on operation table. Dr A. gave me very good pre talk and made me feel better. My journey went successful because I am using my tools . My old size was 26/28 to comfortable little loosing size 8. I feel more healthier, more FREEDOM from my health issues and can try new things for activies. I stayed away from Carb and stick with my protein, vetgetables and fruits. I am underweight from Dr A goal weight . I lost 151 pounds since my surgery but remember the number we lost dont count and the more important is measure your body and how many inches you lost is counting
Congrats to my surgery Pal, Robin R. who had same surgery date with me but different doctor and different hosptial but our spirits were there
Let's make get together to celebrate our anniversary!!
Robin looks great and she is busy being younger sexy NANA or Grandma ( Robin What your grandaughter calls you ??? since I know you hate to call Grandma LOL)
On Oct 27th, I am seeing Dr Borkowski for consultation about tummy tuck and breast lift . Dr A wants me to have this surgery on April which marked 18 months but I have experience pain in my stomach once a while which I am not sure if it is Hernia or not. I have to look up signs for Hernia... People who had hernia , then please share with me what the signs likes. It feel like cramp on and off.
For pre-op people good luck on your processing and stick with your tools then you will make success like I am. For Post -op people, Don't give up and change your food plan or change different kind of exercise to hlep you to reach your goal weight. STAY AWAY FROM SCALE!!!!
Thank you to all of you my WLS friends who are there for me and support me. I won't make it without all of you. My angel , Lisa C.,... thank you for being there for me pre-op, during my surgery and after surgery.. Your guide is wonderful and very support toward me. I learned alot from you and now I can help other pre-op people if they are interested me to being their Angel. I have been an angel with 7 people so far...
THANK YOU
ILY
Hugs
Kathy K
