FRIDAY ROLL CALL

Hello to all my WLS Family: This has been a very crazy work week as always along with being out sick for two days. I went to the emergency room on Monday, had pains in my chest and thought I was having a heart attack, it was a bad reaction to the antibiodic the doctor put me on. What a scary feeling. But the hospital put me on the one I should of been on in the first place. I had bronchitis and a sore throat and I get them this time of the year all the time. I hate it. I am feeling so much better now, but this weather has been so lousy the past couple of days, I wish the rain would stop. We are suppose to go to a children's fair on the green in Milford on Saturday and I was suppose to do the Strides for Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday. I hope the sun comes out. Well my daughter Erin got a part in her Drama Club Musical. They are doing into the woods jr. She is one of Cinderella's mice. I am so proud of her, she is in a lot of scenes too. She is so excited, its her first play. I did them in Middle School and High School and I loved it. I hope she does too. She has such a pretty voice too. Can't wait for the performance in May next year. I am getting frustrated again, I thought I was finally out of the 220s and now I am up and down again. Its driving me out of my mind. I keep gaining and losing and gaining and losing. I am not doing anything different than I do. I do have my period and I am on medication, I am hoping that is the reason. I know I should be patient, but I want to get out of the 200s before the holidays are here. I have been working my tail off and its driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have fifteen more minutes til I go home from work, so I am signing off for now. I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL WEEKEND AND THIS WEATHER GETS BETTER FOR US ALL!!!! Take care everyone. Hi Kim!!! Wow, Im sorry you were in the ER that is scary stuff!!!!! I am glad your feeling better and that you found out what the culprit (sp?) was!!! I bet you'll be out of the 200's by the Holidays!!! You look great and I cant wait to be where you are!!!! This weekend, we are staying in.......rain rain go away.............. The last of the 2 puppies are leaving, and thats about it..... I hope you all have a great weekend!! Bethany

Hi Foks, hope everybody is staying dry. If I start seeing animals walking by in pairs I'm going to put my Bear costume on and fall in line! Hope the rain lets up for the weekend. Has left quite the mess around the yard with tree limbs down and leaves everywhere. Bakery tomorrow, Will be making my wife's birthday cake for sunday. Hey Kim, I am so sorry you have had a yucky week at work and being sick. I can't imagine how scary it must have been to feel like you were having a heart attack.. glad it was something easily remedied. Don't be too discouraged about the stall in the weight loss. I remember having that happen too and thinking that was it I wasn't going to lose anymore, but I was wrong. I have lost 40 pounds more since then and find myself in that stalled place again. I am just working with my body this time and not getting too anxious. I know I am eating properly, I could exercise more (ahem... a lot more) and having this wonderful tool to stay on track makes all the difference in the world. So, this weekend I am planning a 40th b'day party for my husband. It will be the 1st time we have company at the new house. It has been a very chaotic 2 months... we have been renovating and decorating and unpacking. I am ready to just be able to come home and sit and relax for once. Pretty soon. I am feeling better than I have in years. This time of year is usually pretty awful for me with asthma and allergies, but I haven't had any trouble with either. I never expected this, but the other day, I finally threw away my asthma meds since I haven't had to use them since March! I knew that losing the weight would help my symptoms but never thought they would disappear. I also find that my hair is suddenly curly! Has that happened to anyone else? I have had pin straight hair my entire life, but since about 8 months out of surgery, it started to develop this wave until now it is just downright curly! I didn't lose any hair from surgery, so it is really strange. I kind of like it except for the frizzies I now get when it rains which is a daily occurance lately. Anyway, hoping everyone has a great weekend. Praying for some sunshine!!!! Terri

Hi, Kimmie, I'm so sorry that you had such a hard time with the antibiotics...scary. Glad that you got it straightened out. Have a great weekend! If this rain ever stops, maybe we'll be able to get out and have some fun! Tomorrow will be a clean up around the house day. I'll try to do my best, as I'm still just 2 weeks out and still feel a bit weak. Sunday, we travel to Bristol, where my sister lives and we're going to meet her new adopted/rescued Standard Poodle! My kids (and me too) can't wait! I hear she's a real sketch and is very smart with lots of fun tricks, etc. Everyone have a great weekend...and...if I too see a line with pairs of animals marching, I'll also don somekind of animal "suit" and join them...I'm SICK OF THIS WEATHER! paula

Hi Kim Glad to hear you are feeling better. Sorry that you were miserable for so long tho. I was determined to get out and walk this morning..and I did 3 miles..in the drizzle/rain. It felt good--believe it or not--but now I need a nice hot bath! Going to Foxwoods tonight with my hubby and my daughter. She loves Grease-and my husband has been a long time Olivia Newton John fan..so he is taking her to the concert tonight. I am going to do some gambling and meet up with them for a late dinner afterwards. I am so sick of this gray, rainy weather...where is the sun?? Hang in there folks...this can't last forever!
