Ok, so really I don't regret the surgery. However, it's been almost 6 months since my WLS and I have yet to really begun to enjoy my new "lease on life." This is my very own pity party tonight- just warning you. In the past 2 weeks I have had my gall bladder removed, a fat necrosis removed, and today after my endoscopy I find out that my new pouch is loaded with ulcers!!!! So when does life start to get better? Why and how did I get these ulcers? I followed the diet, take the pills, and drink the drinks...so now what??? If anyone feels like they can share similar stories, please email me with some advice..I REALLY could use it. Christine

Sorry to hear your road has been quite bumpy. Hopefully you can get some answers from your doctor. Can understand why your so frustrated! While I have had the usual problems that come along with this surgery, , I have lucked out so far as to other complications. Hope your Journey gets better ASAP . Best of Luck! Julio

Chrisssssstineeeeeeeeeee Go back and read your profile honey!!!! You ARE going to feel better physically eventually- you are having more complications than many - BUT you have also accomplished your weight loss goal- I would hazard to guess the Gall Bladder is to blame for much of the agony- and when its full of stones it can creat havoc and discord in the entire intestinal tract. Were you taking any NSAIDS or Aspirin products at all post op? Those can do it too. You need to tell yourself you will get by this- and believe it- and you need to find some way to de-stressify both physically and mentally. I hope you feel better soon- you will, and when all this is behind you - you will realize you are left with your real goal accomplished.
