IN the process, Went for my upper GI last week...Doc said everything looks good...not good for me, but when I called office nurses were very positive. I am 4 months in with Dietician...I believe Medicaid wants 6 months. I am going to get my Psych evaluation probably in 2 weeks. so I am on my way, but not sure what to expect from insurance or from Doc. I have gained back almost 100 pounds and I am so unhappy. I so need a revison...anyone have any advice?

I wish you all the best and hope insurance cooperates and covers your revision.

Follow your doctor and dieticians plan for post op patients, go to support group meetings if you can, come to OH often and post how you are doing and read posts form others. If you need other support or help to be successful get it. So many of us have eating disorders that can sabotage our efforts so seek counselling for that if it is an issue for you.

Don't give up, you may stumble along the way and when you do just put that behind you and start back in the right direction.

Check out the revison forum here at OH for others who have been through what you are going through.

Wishing you all the best.

Why would you ask a question like that?  What difference does it make and why is it any of your business?

This is a support forum, not an inquisition.  If you're not here to support or offer advice- don't bother posting.

Hi Mary- I really hope you get the revision you need.  I too would recommend you visit the revision forum for some expert advice.

Other than that- hang in there and try not to get disappointed.  The process can be long and grueling.

Best wishes-

Best,

Lisa C
