CT LEGISLATION?

Over the summer, I understood from ObesityHelp that there was going to be an attempt to refile legislation that would prohibit Connecticut insurers from denying coverage for weight loss surgery. Efforts to contact my legislators and the prior House sponsor of last year's bill have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have an update?

Steve, I sent emails and letters to the legistlators listed on the post a couple of months ago. I got one answer from my local representative Gail Schlosberg and she told me they were presenting it, I have not hear anything more since then. I think we all need to send petitions, letters, emails and phone calls as a very large group and maybe get a group together to meet with them to present our concerns. KimC
