Support Group Meetings Next Week

Hi, All! Between Hamden and Middletown there are 3 support group meetings next week...2 on Mon. and 1 Tues. Mon., Oct. 3rd, is the 1st Mon. of the month, so the meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) is for pre-ops only. It's a presentation of nutritional and psych. info. and attendance at 1 such meeting is mandatory for each pre-op. Also on Mon. is a meeting in Hamden at the Senior Center behind the Miller Library on Dixwell Ave. (6:30 - 8 p.m.). The Hamden group isn't affiliated with any particular doctor or hospital and is open to all. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Tues. night is the monthly post-op only meeting at Middlesex Hospital (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.). Normally I would have attended the Hamden meeting on Mon., along with the Tues. meeting, but Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) starts Mon. night at sundown and runs till sundown Wed. night, so I have other plans for those evenings. Someone else will have to organize dinner out after the Tues. meeting. I'll miss seeing you all, but will get my support for the week in a different way and from being with other friends and relatives. Hey Debby, Good to hear from ya! I'll be going to the Hamden meeting. Seeing that summer is over, I'll be able to make it there more regularly! Happy New Year! Love, Kelly
