Everyday Questions
I am almost 6 months post op and I have a few questions that I don't feel like bothering my doctor's office with. Can any one help?
Sometimes I get ravenous after I work out. Is that normal?
Is Acidophilus safe for post op patients?
I am currently taking a multi, iron, Acidophilus, B-12 & calcium everyday, most of which need to be taken 2x a day, with meals. I only eat 3 meals a day. Which of these will interact with the others and which can I take together.
Is there a general list somewhere of what we can take and what we can't?
Thanks!
Hi Christine!!!!
When I work out I get hungry also so this maybe normal. I know people who did have the surgery feel reallllllllllly hunry so I wouldn't be bother by it!
As for the Acidophilus I just started taking it and so far it hasn't done anything (at leats I think it hasn't)
I do not take my calcium and b12, I take them at differeent time because some where down the line I heard they weren't go together. I rather be safe then sorry. Also caffein with the calcium is a NO NO. The caffein won't let our body absord the calcium.
As for a list you can go on the main board and ask them, they are great at getting right back to you!!!
Hope this helped you out!!!!
Have a great night!!!
Carmen
