OT - Update on Gram

Hello all... thanks so much for your kind words and prayers...they have helped! I am happy to report she is out of ICU and becoming more talkative. When I went to see her on Sat, we were singing songs together (she remembered her high school song!! anyone go to Weaver High??? haha) and she remembered past memories that I brought up of us and her children. I also told her I would be going out dancing that night, and she told me to have a great time, and have 2 drinks! I was glad to have her permission and you betcha I took her up on that (I know, I know, no drinking before surgery, but after that weekend and since I am not scheduled yet I hope it would be ok)....and when I asked gram if I could leave to go to dinner with a friend, she said flat out 'no'...I asked her why, and she said 'because I am selfish'...I thought that was so cute! and i told her she is getting better since she is back to her witty little self. onto Dr A's today for a preop consultation on my thyroid nodule...hope to see alot of you tonight at the meeting,... thanks again, and G-D bless!!
