OT...My baby started Kindergarten!
Oh well, after seven years of having one or two kids at home, it is now time for me to send my "baby" off to Kindergarten! He's five, his sister is seven.
It's a bittersweet day. I didn't cry as he got on the bus, because he was SO excited to finally get to ride the bus! He feels all grown up. He's been seeing his sister take it for two years and just "longing" to catch a ride with her.
Ok, what shall I do with my day? Go back to bed? Start cleaning the house in preparation of my surgery next week? Go back to bed? Give the dogs a bath? Go back to bed? Take a walk? Go back to bed? LOL
(as you picture me weighing each choice in my hands!)
It's ALL day Kindergarten, so he'll be mighty tired when he gets home at 4pm! That's a "good" thing!
And if you're wondering why he started so late, it's because our school system just started school last week due to a brand new school being built and then the kindergarten starts a week later!

My son started Kindergarten too- already had a lovely chat with his teacher...**SIGH*** I blamed it all on his father and genetics. His father agreed with me and offered to bring his psychological eval from 1st grade over to the teacher so she could get a "heads up"
ITs so nice- even though I still have one more to go- to have a break in the day- mine is only half time - so its only a three hour break but its a nice one! Too bad he'll be in Kindergarten for 5 or 6 years......
