Sleep Apnea
Hello Everyone - I've never posted here, but have been reading for a while! My best friend Patty introduced me to this site (thanks!). Anyway - I am traveling the path to hopefully get the bypass (or lap band) surgery - I'm leaning towards the bypass, but I'm open to anything right now! I just returned from my sleep study and they confirmed I have f#$@*** sleep apnea!! No wonder why I'm exhausted all the time!
I need some rest!! Man - I work full time (get up at 4:30 a.m.) I'm going to school for my Masters and I have an amost 3 year old son - I can't imagine what I'd be able to accomplish if I was rested and I could get rid of this weight!
I know this is a poor excuse for an intro to myself - but I just have a quick question that I can't find the answer to in my searches so far.....
Does the bypass (or lapband) surgery generally "cure" the sleep apnea?
I can't stand the thought of wearing a stupid head gear thing to bed every night for the rest of my life..........I'll do it if I have to.......
Thanks in advance for any info!
Best Regards,
TammyM
