Support Group Meetings Next Week

Hi, All! Although this coming Mon. is the 1st Mon. of Sept., because it's Labor Day, the support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital is cancelled. The one in Hamden, however, is postponed to the next day, Tues., Sept. 6th. Hamden's group isn't affiliated with any doctor or hospital and is open to anyone...pre-op, post-op, looking into surgery, supportive friends/family members, etc. It usually meets on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at the Senior Center, behind the Miller Library, on Dixwell Ave., from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Also on Tues., Sept. 6th, is the monthly post-op only support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Our own Tammy L. will be speaking about exercise and fitness. Although most attendees are patients of Dr. Aranow, any post-op (with or without supportive significant others) is welcome. So who's planning to attend the meeting? I will be there with lots of toys in hand. So, wear comfy clothes, we can try some new exercises together. I'm sure Kathy knows most of them, but maybe I can surprise you with a few different ones! I am really looking forward to it. Hope you can all attend! I was expecting to back out of Tuesday's meeting at Middlesex, but it turns out that our school will be opening late two days due to constuction problems. See you there? Dave
