Problem & Stuff...
Hi all! I just wanted to update from my last post- The Do You Think I'm Crazy post...
I am now scheduled for what I'm calling Reconstructive Breast Augmentation. LOL. Hey- it makes me feel better. In other words, on September 21, 2005 I am having breast implant surgery, for sure! OMG, I can't believe I'm actually going through with this. My pre-opo physical is this Friday, so I guess reality is setting in. Wish me luck!!
On another front- I found a condo to move to, since my house is closing on Sept 15. I'll be moving Sept 10. BUT- I have a problem. I can't take my cat with me.
She's such a good girl, and such a pretty cat- I'm currently looking for a home for her.
Anybody know anybody who is looking for a companion? She is a med. length hair brown tiger cat (looks like a Maine Coon Breed and probably is partly) She was a humane society rescue, and I've had her for 10 years. So, she's a bit older.
But, she's been an indoor and an outdoor cat and adjusted well to both. She is super super friendly and likes to be held and be near people. She is sociable with other animals and has lived in a house with a dog and two other cats. She is fond of children as well. She's not the kind of cat that disappears under a bed when you have company. She 'talks' a lot! We kind of can have our own style of conversation, which is fun.
I really consider her a companion cat, as she's not aloof or standoffish or skittish at all. She likes to be with you.
Anyway- if you know anybody- would you please give them my email? [email protected] and tell them to contact me? I need to find her a home befoe the 10th of September.
Thanks for listening guys!
hugs,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
Congrats on getting your surgery date - I am sure you will be so happy when you are healed. I think I told you my sister in law did the same and was sorry she waited so long to do it. Please keep us posted as to how you are doing.
Great news about the condo - I am surprised you can't bring a cat! I don't know anyone offhand who will take your cat (wish I could - hubby says one animal is enough!).
HUGS,
Nancy K
Hi Lisa!
I am so happy for you that you are having your surgery! I am sure that you will not regret the decision you have made, and no your not crazy I have some of the same problems like you mentioned in that poast, and hopefully after I am done trying to have another baby, I can get the "girls" fixed as well, and a tummy tuck hopefully. You should be so proud of yourself for how great you look and you deserve this! Also, congrats on your condo! On another note, I am so sorry about your kitty, sounds so pretty. I have 2 already and a dog so I can't help you but if you don't find anyone, take her to the Humane society. My cousin works at the Newington one and they will find her a good home! Especially being the type of cat she is.
Keep us posted and best wishes with your surgery!
