I am so disappointed! Dr. A's office called me today after I called them to confirm my appointment for Wed. to reschedule my appointment from Aug. 31 to Sept.28th. First of all I was suppose to have an appointment in May. Dr. A said they would send me a card to let me know when the appointment would be so in the beginning of July when I didn't hear anythhing I called them and they couldn't see me til August 31st and now that it's 2 days away and they call saying they have to reschedule me for the end of Sept. What a let down. I guess I just need to hear him say that I doing a good job at losing weight. I'm just feelling a little down. I'll get over it. Cindy

Hi Cindy, I had my first scheduled appt with Dr A in early June. I drove ALL the way up from RI to my appt, only for them to tell me that he was tied up in surgery and my appointment was cancelled. I would love to have a picture of myself the second she told me that, because I know that it took me totally off guard and I felt SO hurt (not mad, things happen and I would hope that he'd not rush my surgery to see a patient in the office) that I was going to have to wait longer to see him and get my pre op stuff going. I had to wait another three weeks for an appt and this day he was there! I told him that no matter what he had going, he had to stay and see me, I wasn't letting him leave! You'll get in. Don't worry. He's a busy man and may have to do an emergency surgery during the time when you were supposed to have your appt. Did you get on the cancellation list? If not, call them and make sure you are on a cancellation list and they'll call you sooner if someone cancels. Make sure you give them ALL of your available phone numbers so they can call you at a moments notice. Just tell them you need about an hour to get up there! Well you are lucky because they cancelled Appt. for Sept. 28th saying he would be away and and now I don't go until October 12th. So my 6 months follow-up will actually be 8 months. I would be lying if I said I was not discouraged with this. But like you said...we will get over it! Kristin

Kristin, If you had an appt for sept 28 and they rescheduled you for oct then why did they schedule me for sept 28th if they told you he is going away?????? Something's fishy in Middletown. Cindy

I am scheduled for Surgery with him on the 12th of September. I do know that Louis said that as of the 16th he is on vacation the following week. So that would be Like the 16th of Sept to the 26thish I would assume.. Maybe you want to call and verify. Lisa
