Hurricane Katrina, please pray for the people in her path.......

I have been watching CNN and The Weather Channel today, and Hurricane Katrina is sooo scary!!! My good friend Johanna lives in New Orleans, and I would love to have some prayers for her and her family, and everyone whose lives are in danger tonight and tomorrow. Thank-you all so much~ ~Bethany

I'm thinking about everyone down there. My sister-in-law is starting college at Loyola in New Orleans and she went down on Friday with my other sister-in-law and my mom-in-law. Needless to say, they had to evacuate so they rented a car to drive to Houston to get out of the way. For a regularly 4-5 hour drive it took 12 hours yesterday (Sunday). What a way to start your freshman year, huh? I'm just thankful that she wasn't alone (she's only 17). Who knows when school will start now? Keep up the positive thoughts~ Stacey

Bethany - good call. I have been praying for them for two days! I watched MSNBC practically all day yestereday and have it streaming through my computer today. So devastating. I couldn't imagine going through something like that. Hopefully most people got out and lives will be spared! Phyllis

She will remember this forever!!! Did you all see that now they have to evacuate the SuperDome??? I feel bad for everyone, but especially for the older people who have trouble getting around. Hey Bethany: I know how you feel, a good friend of mine's mother lives in Louisiana too. I am praying for everyone there, I hope it does not do too much damage. Lets all pray for the people of Louisiana and hope its just a mild one. Take care and my best to your friend and her family. Hugs Kim C
