Can't sleep

HI, I am a fomer band patient that just had bypass done. I don't remember not beening able to sleep the last two time. ( when I first had the band done and then when I had it fixed). Any one can give me any ideal on what to do. I am just 6 day post op....... Thanks. C

Hi Cris, When I was 6 days post op I was going crazy just resting all the time. I made a point of getting as much walking as I could in to make me tired. You may want to mention to your surgeon during your first post op visit . Good Luck and Welcome to the losing side. Julio

Try a drop of lavender oil on your pillow, it will help you relax. Pam

Hi Cris, Sorry I don't have any advise on helping you with sleep but I thought I would let you know that they do have a revision board that might be able to help you. Alot of people have gone thru different types of revisions and are very helpful there. Good luck and I will pray you have no more problems.
