Fridays Roll Call

Hello there everyone: What a beautiful day outside today. I am loving this weather. I hope it stays this way all weekend. I am finally getting alittle break at work, its nice and quiet with the phones today. My daughter Erin came to work with me. She is not going back to school until the 31st. I wish they would just wait until after Labor Day. Tomorrow my husband and his bestfriend are going to a Yankee Game, he is so excited. Wish I could go. His friend is treating him for his birthday. Lucky him. Erin and I will be going out for the day and doing mom and daughter stuff. Probably shopping, lunch and maybe a movie. I can't tell you how excited I was when I got inducted into the Century Club, 100lbs is suchs a great feeling for me. Its been a long time coming. I am so happy and have so much more energy now. Its amazing. My eating has gotten so much better, I still have my days where I get sick but not as bad as the beginning. Its been 7 months and 3 weeks. Boy did that go by fast. I am such a promoter of this surgery and I am trying to help others who need the support too. I feel that this is a wonderful site and we are all like a family. Unfortunately there are some individuals on the sight who voice their opinions alittle too strongly and its insulting to alot of us. We all need to chill out alittle and be alittle more caring of other peoples feelings. This board should not be used for belittling others or insulting others. We all have lives outside of the WLS site, we need to be alittle more considerate to each other and try not to be so judgemental. I am just alittle concerned about the way some of the people on the board are talking to eachother. I thought we were on the board to be supportive and caring to eachother. I guess I am old fashioned. I have always been a very caring person and I don't have it in me to be mean to people. Anyway enough of my soapbox. Hi Kim...thanks for starting the Roll-- Guess we need to meet up on Monday OK? I am watching my friends 2 kids overnight--her husband is taking her on a weekend getaway to the casino. One of them is my daughters best friend..so I got them some videos..and will make them a special dinner. Not too many plans for the weekend...it will feel good to lay low after last weekend's trip to NYC. Have a great weekend gang...its supposed to be beautiful outside. Hugs and Kisses Joanie

Hi Kim, Congrats on the Century club. Knew those last few pounds were driving you crazy. Had a couple of weeks myself when the scale was toying with me. Quite frustrating indeed! We all do the best we can on this board to try to be helpful and supportive. At times it may seem like not enough effort is put into it by some and maybe, for a bunch of different reasons, it may look that way. But anyone who has followed this group for a bit can easily see we have a bunch of kind, caring folks here. So, to all the rest of you "Thank You",for making my journey easier , more informed, and just plain fun! Have a few picnics to go to this weekend as well as some last minute "Back to School" shopping. I'm at the point now where I am fitting into my son's "Fat Clothes" so am getting him a few things for his new wardrobe as the gym and proper eating has worked their magic on him as well. Hi everyone!!! Kim thats awesome about the century club!!! You should be very proud of yourself!!! Tonight I am excited because my hubby and I are going out to dinner and we have not done that in sooo long!!! Hi Kim! Hope you have a wonderful weekend especially Saturday with your daughter Erin! Thw weather has been so awesome this past week. I wi**** were like this all the time, you can feel September coming. Let's see tomorrow Tom is in the blue fish tournament , hopefully he will catch a big fish and win some $$$$. So that leaves me with the boys for the day. We are heading to Milford, to spend some time with my niece and her daugter so the kids can play together. So it should be fun. Sunday is going to be a rest day, and some cleaning. That's about it, nothing exciting this weekend. On another note, I was feeling a little weird and thought I may be pregnant again, but my "friend" came to visit! So maybe next time! We started trying again this past month to have another baby so please everyone keep you fingers crossed for us for another miracle! Have a wonderful weekend! MaryJo

Hi Everyone, Kimmie, you are so right about what you said. I think the drama needs to be left on the main board, We have not had that problem before on the Ct board and I think if we don't respond to future critical postings it will go away. As for me, I plan on having a great weekend! I went to the club early today for a versa training class. Tomorrow I will do another versa training and then out to Tag sales with my husband. Today I made a digital scrapbook of my daughter's trip to Florida. It is actually a book for my niece's baby as a surprise. It was actually quite fun to do although it did take me all day! Sunday will most likely be a school shopping day with the kids. I can't believe school is starting already! Have a terrific weekend everyone. Love, Sandy

Hey Kim I do agreed 100 percent what you said ..... Like I said we are all big family no matter if the WLS person is not posting often or post often on this message board. WE still meet people at Support group, like Bette said she met other people any place who are not on Ct Message board... Tonight I am ready for big blast time to meet all of my old classmates who I have not see for 20 years!!!!!! Tomorrow We will go to our niece 's birthdya party. BUSY BUSY weekend!!! Hugs Kathy K
