One year anniversary
I can't believe one year has come and gone. What a ride it has been. I have been very fortunate to sail through this first year without any problems.
Since surgery I am down 124 lbs and since my highest weight pre-op I am down 195 lbs. I will be meeting with my doctor next week and will figure out what my "final" goal will be. I have 17 lbs to lose in order for my BMI to be normal.
Thanks to all who have provided support.

Have a nice day and may you all have much success on your journey.

Thanks..my overall experience was great. I can honestly say I have not had any problems. I stuck to all my doctors rules about food and found I had no problems with eating or drinking anything. I have not had any dumping experiences or any other issues,
Like most people I did lose hair so I cut it short and it is growing back fine. It took me a while to find good protein shakes and bars, but I have found things I like.
I would suggest you follow the rules, drink your fluids, get your proteins and stay on top of your vitamins.
I wish you success on your journey.
