looking for a support group in south eastern ct

HI EVERYBODY MY NAME IS SHAWN I'M LOOKING FOR SUPPORT GROUP IN  MY AREA I'M GETTING MY SURGERY MONDAY THE 23RD SO I WANT TO FIND A GROUP THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Someone will chime in here about support groups there. I only know of Middlesex and I think there is one in Norwalk. Good luck on Monday and get ready for the ride of your life!

L+M has one on the third Wed of every month.  I have not been in about a year but it was good when I was going.  I believe that it's 6-8 in the evening.

I was wondering myself  I am in Middletown and have gone to the open support groups but I think that once I have the surgery I would like something alittle more approriate for support.

Yes, the support groups at L & M Hospital are stl the third Wednesday of the monthe from 6 - 8 PM.  Come and join us, the group is very good.  We have speakers occasionally, but also have alot of tips and tricks among the group ,e,bers.  I certainly have learned alot from evryone who has already been through the WLS.  The next meeting is the 18th.  I can't remember the meeting room, but the front desk has the info and will give you a card with directions to the room.
