Anyone heard from Maggie??

Hi all, I haven't seen any recent posts from Maggie and was wondering if anyone was in touch with her recently. She is always on my mind and I just want to make sure she is continuing to do well. Thanks! Nancy K

Hey Nancy, I talked to her a few days ago, she sounded like she was busy over the summer and feeling much better. I am hoping she is ok too. How are you and how is everything going with you? I have been thinking about you and hoping your well too. Hugs KimC

Hi Kim, Thanks for responding! I always worry when she is away from the boards for too long! I finally am free of the boot on my foot (and leg!). I am now in the sneaker stage. Just a precaution to make sure the bone is completely healed from the break. It was a long summer carrying that thing around!! Everything else is satus quo - waiting for insurance renewals to come around so I can figure out what I am going to do about my surgery. I have decided to keep a log in my profile. I never updated it because it was all bad news! Maybe someone else in the same boat will read it and feel better that they are not alone! I'm here, just really frustrated due to heart trouble kicking in. I'm supposed to be in San Diego right now and I had to cancel the trip. I've been feeling really down due to this vicious cycle starting again. Dr. Valin is going to do an endoscopy on Thursday morning to rule out any possibly gastric causes. They already did an upper GI and that came back fine. If the endoscopy comes back fine then we're looking at the possibility of the heart bypass again. Please keep me in your prayers. Mike or I will keep you updated. I'm sorry I haven't been around much, just having a hard time with all of this again after I have felt so good. Thanks for thinking of my Nancy. Hugs, Maggie
