QUESTION?

THIS IS A LAPORSCOPIC GASTRIC BYPASS QUESTION....HAS ANYONE HAD A PAIN ABOUT 2-3'' BELOW THE LEFT BREAST NEAR THE INCISION?? I'VE HAD ONE FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS NOW AND WHEN I TRY TO USE MY LEFT SIDE IT ''HURTS''.......

Annette, I did have some discomfort for a few days, but you may want to call your surgeon to have it checked just in case. It could be just from healing but don't take any chances, call the doctor and make sure its ok. Good luck sweetie. Hugs KimC

Hi Annette, I would call your doc for sure, but I've had pain there that's horrible gas. Are you eating sugar alcohol (usually found in sugar free products)? That will give you such bad gas you will feel like you are gonna die! Good luck, and keep us posted. JA

Hi Annette, Do you still have your gall bladder and are you taking medicine if you do? I remember when they switched my meds from a capsul to a pill I was just swallowing the pill and got a pain. I started crushing the pill and it went away. By the way I was opening those capsuls and mixing them with that suger free applesauce. They tasted horrible. Not sure if any of tis info will help but do call your doctor anyway to be sure. Take care! Julio
