Patiently wating......
Well, all of my pre op appointments for testing and evaluations are done and over with. Dr Aranow is just waiting on one of two of the reports from Elina and my GI specialist and then it's off for approval!
I'm waiting and trying to be patient, but I cannot have my surgery until the week of Oct 16, because my husband can't get any time off from his job until that week. So, I'm doing my low carb dieting, trying to get some exercise done (in this wicked heat and humidity), reading a LOT of books and these profiles/forums on WLS, getting ready and prepared.
I wish I could have it THIS WEEK! But, all good things come to those that wait, as they say...so, until it's my time to say "I'm a big loser", I'll be here reading all of your posts and trying to add my two cents!
Thanks for listening...
Paula
Hi Paula,
I remember how stressful it was having to wait for an answer, and then wait for the day to finally come! Once your day is here you will look back and think how fast it actually came! Good luck to you and let us know when you get a date so we can make room on the losers bench for you!

Paula:
The waiting game is the hardest part. But well worth it. October will be here before you know it. It is good to have the time to read up and get yourself ready for this life altering surgery.
Best of luck to you and if you ever have any questions or are looking to chat please feel free to e-mail me.
Best of luck to you.
Chryssie
Paula Just keep doing what you are doing and remember when the time comes you will be saying I can't believe that it is done. Get all the info that you can before hand and even find out the things that alot of people dont like to talk about but are great to know Before hand. Good luck and e-mail me with and ? you have.
Beth
