Anyone have Advice

Can any of u suggest a great plastic surgeon?  I needed a TT and back skin removed.  I would like to have someone do this thats done alot of surgerys on bariatric patients.  Im willing to go anywhere in the US.  Im not up to traveling outside the US.  Thanks for any help u can give me.

There are three I can think of here in CT. It's about a 13 hour drive from Richmond. Not a creepy stalker type here, just from Dayton, so I know how long it takes to get between the two.

Well I hope u will list them for me.  I have relatives in the area to stay with.  My husband is from Connecticut.  Ive never lived further east than Ohio,  Also I would be flying...not drying and I'd be staying there for about a month when I get them.  

 

Wasn't sure if you would want them or not or if you were just looking at options. I know there is Drs. Castiglione and Cech in Hartford. They are with Ct surgical group. They work out of Hartford Hospital. The hospital's not bad. Had 2 outpatient surgeries there. One of them was a scar revision using one of their collegues. I would go back to him but he has NO bariatric experience that I know of. The other one is Dr. Borkowski out of Middletown. I LOVE Middlesex hospital. He's the one my surgeon recommends last I heard. I have heard NOTHING but good things about him. I am thinking about going to see him when the time comes for me.

Side note: I loved in Dayton all my life except for a total of 5 years. Two of those were for college and the other 3 I was in Toledo. Straight up 75 from my old home. Met the hubby and moved here to CT 5 years ago. If you do decide to come out here for it let me know and I can be here for support if you want it. It is a HUGE cultural shock here compaired to the midwest!

Thanks for the info.  I grew up in Ohio...just down the road in Hamilton.  Ive been in IN about 15 yrs now.  Im not sure where Im doing this.  Im looking into all my options.  I want someone whos really good with baratric patients and not a butcher.  I want a body artist....lol.  I will go anywhere in the US even if I have to stay in a Hotel...if the Sergeon is awesome.  Im not going to Mexico or somewhere like that.

It's not a problem. I plan on using Dr. Borkowski as of right now. I will be discussing this next week with my surgeon at my one year follow up. Good luck finding someone you like and trust.

I would love to have my plastics done at Middlesex, however I have heard that Dr. Borkowski is not much of a "fighter" with the insurance companies. I have an appointment March 16 with Dr. Consiglione who will really go to bat with the insurance companies to get everything covered. I really wanted Dr. Aranow to do my plastics so he can finish what he helped create, but he does'nt do any lipo at all.

I'll check all three doctors before I decide anything.
