Hi everyone, Just wanted to say hello to everyone and let them know that I was not swallowed by a shark or fell into a volcano. Have been having some emotional issues which have kept me from posting as I have been experiencing all the roller coaster effects that can sometimes happen. I just had my gall bladder out on Friday and am home recuperating. They thought it was too soon for me to have gall bladder trouble (started in May) but of course I can't do anything the easy way. Am feeling better and hoping that the gall bladder issues will melt away. Although I must say, looks like my abdomen was in a knife fight right out of Outsiders. But as they say, every scar tells a story of a chapter in my life. On the weight loss front, I really didn't lose much the first month, until they removed the foreign object, then it started to happen gradually. At this point I am down 62.5 pounds from the day of surgery. And that is on top of the 13.5 from the beginning of this journey. Surgery was on 3/9/2005. Many thanks are in order for the wonderful people on this board who have made this journey so much easier than it would have been alone. I appreciate you all, and even though I don't post much, I read and keep abreast of everything on a daily basis. As for my lovely sanity keepers, thanks for your support and friendship, without you where would I be? Ugh, don't even want to think about it. Going forward I will try to participate more, but even if I don't I am always here...lurking. And to my Angelette, Lisa P, hang in there girlie girl. It may not go as fast as you would like, but all good things in time. Smooches, NA

N- You know we all think you're a great lady! Here's hoping that this is THE LAST bump in the road for you. Be kind to yourself and take it easy while you recover. I know you're going to feel SOOO much better real soon. love & hugs, Lisa

Hey girl!!! I'm so glad to see you post! Congrats on getting rid of the gallbladder. Sometimes we don't realize how sick it can make us until we get rid of it! Email me if you want to chat! And your weighloss is marvelous. BE PROUD! Love, Tammy

Hi, NA! Having your gallbladder removed is a pretty extreme way to lose some more weight. Seriously though, I hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Debby
