Hi CT board!!! Just a little update on my. I have pretty much reached my weightloss goal. I still don't eat much and what I do eat is pretty limited. I do my best to get my fluids and proteins in but I never feel hunger so I try to eat on a schedule. I am booked for surgery on Aug. 26th with Dr.Salem (surgical oncologist) to have the left lobe of my liver removed due to a mass on it that can not be positivly identified util it is removed and sent to pathology. I am trying to stay positive but some days are worse than others. I have pain on & off. I will be in the hospital for 5 to 7 days then home for some time recouperating. The stinky part is I will have to spend my 35th birthay in the hospital (8/29) and my little one starts kindergarten on 8/31 and I may not be home for his first day. Though he will still be going to the same daycare for before & after care so they will be providing the transportation. He will not be going on the school bus. I just feel like I will be missing a very special day. So hopefully I will be home in time. IF you believe in prayer please say a little one for me. It would really mean a lot to me. JA is my angel for this surgery and will keep you posted as to what is going on. I will be at Yale like I was for my WLS. I want to thank everyone on this board for all the support I have gotten in the past. I owe a big part of my sucess to the motivation and kind words I have gotten here. I hope I have been able to give that back to at least a few. Thanks for listening to me and for the support. Take Care and continued sucess to all of you. Chryssie

Hi Chryssie, reporting for duty!!! I'm ready...I believe in the power of prayer, so you don't have to worry. You have the "best" surgeon for the job; so the rest we'll take care of. Let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help before, during, or after the surgery. I'm here for you, and you're going to be fine! xoxoxoxoxoxo JA

Hi Chryssie, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope and pray you will be home for your son's special day and that your mass is nothing. As a mom, I know how you feel about missing those days. Try to think positive - it is a big part of healing. I will send positive vibes your way and I will look for JA's posts as to how you made out. Don't worry about missing your 35th - 40 is the big one to look forward to!! HUGS and Prayers, Nancy K
