MaryJo and Tom's 7 seconds of fame! We are going to be on TV :)
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know that Sunday and Monday morning at 10:30 am on the CT WB Channel 20 WTXX station, Crossroads Magazine will be doing this show on Bariatric Surgery and they chose Tom and I to share our story with them. So, Tom, myself and our 2 little guys will be featured along with Some of the Dr's at St. Raphael Hospital. It should be very interesting hopefully if I can change even one person's mind into making thier decision to have this surgery , I will be so pleased. It is the best thing we have done and we feel wonderful and our lives have gotten so much better and dreams have come true. I just wanted to share this info with all of you! Take care and god Bless! Hope you like the show!

Hi MaryJo!, How Exciting! I had my Surgery at St. Ray's " Dr Nazdam". Will have My wife tape it for me.The more information folks like us bring to light about this surgery the better. Its amazing some of the things people ask me about because they heard a rumor instead of actually loking into it. God Bless you and your family for being kind enough to share your journey with all who see the show. Take care,
Julio
Hi Julio!
Thanks so much! Dr, reinhold did our surgeries, but he was on vacation when they filmed the show 2 weeks ago, so they interviewed Dr. Nazdam. They are all great docs over there! I would love to help people make that decision if they are pondering WLS, it changed us in so many ways! We were both told we could not have children so we adopted 2, then we ended up getiing pregnant, but unfortunatley the baby passed away right before he was born, but he is a miracle and he is our sign of HOPE, and this surgery made us be able to have more children and actually biological children. It does many wonderful things.
God Bless !

MaryJo! It's been a long time! I remember your surgery and your hubby's AND you getting pregnant! I am so happy things are going well for you and I will be watching for sure.
Dr. Reinhold and Dr. Nadzam are amazing. Dr. R told me Nadzam will inherit his patients when he retires. He told me he was retiring next year. I can't see him slowing down though. He helped me so much when I had my gallbladder and mesh problems. He and Dr. Nadzam were so patient and sweet to me. Jessie, the APRN in that office deserves recognition too, she is so dedicated to her patients. Even though I had my main surgery at UConn, I feel a bond with St. Raph's. The care I had there and the people I met were outstanding!
Good to see you again and I will see you Sunday night!
love and hugs,
Cheryl
Hi Cheryl!
So good to see you on again! it has been a LONG time!
Just to be sure, it is actually 10:30 am on Sunday and Monday. I wi**** was on at night!
I love the Dr.'s at ST RAYS, I am so bummed by Dr. Reinhold retiring, but I hear Dr. Nazdam, is his protege. I have seen him but not had the pleasure to actually "meet" him in person. Thanks for that info that he will be taking over Dr. R's patients. I feel much better now! Also, Yes, Jesse is an awesome APRN. She is so personal and makes you feel so good and is on top of things. How is your new Lab puppy doing by the way?
Gotta love LABS!
Take care and God Bless!
