I AM STUCK?????
Kim,
I am sure it is so frustrating when you want those last few pounds and they don't come easily (and when I get there, I will let you remind me its okay!)
But in any case, maybe you just need a jump start of something different. A few less calories or a little bit more protein or even a slightly different exercise routine for a week. The body gets used to our routine and sometimes we need to shake it up differently!
It will come!!
Phyllis
Take a deep breath Kim. You've just bought a ticket for a short stay a frustration station. You'll get through it. It's annoying if anything, but I promise you that the scale will move again. I was stuck there for about a month and a half. I did lose some inches during that time, so all is not lost. Keep the faith, that scale will move. In the meantime, vent away all you need to.
Hugs,
Maggie

OK, here's my 'wisdom' (lol) for what it's worth...
CHANGE ONE BIG THING THAT YOU'RE DOING for two weeks, whenever you get stuck for a week or more. ONLY one, make the change for 2 weeks. and it's got to be a major thing.
For example:
You walk for exercise 4 x a week currently. STAIRSTEPPER 4 x a week and forget walking for a while.
You eat 3 meals a day. Change to 5 small meals a day.
You eat a lot of veggies in addition to protein. Stop the veggies for a while and protein load.
Get my drift? What will your thing be? I have no idea. But, the trick (or theory) is that you have to fool your body into giving up those pounds for energy.
Hi there! I had been feeling frustration about things as well lately. My frustration was b/c I had an appt. with Dr. Valin coming up and I felt as if I had to be at 100 lbs or otherwise I was a complete failure. Once I realized that I was driving myself crazy, I pushed my appt. back a week and have just told myself that if I get there by then, fine, if not then 96 lbs is still quite an accomplishment and something to be proud of. Worrying about it isn't melting my fat off.
It can be difficult to know exactly how to feel at times during this process. Feeling as if something isn't working right. But you have come a long way! Just think back to how great it felt to ride those rides with your daughter and the other milestones you have had. Hopefully, you will feel better about things soon! Hang in there!!!

Hey Kim,
I have been where you are! I wanted to be a member of the "Century Club" and for weeks was 2-3 lbs away from it. I ended up on a no carb diet for 1 week and lost 5 lbs that week! This is what I am doing now and will get weighed on the 16th for my 1 year anniversary! I know how frustrating and discouraging it is but it will come off! Good luck to you and vent away as much as you want!
Love,
Sandy
