Isopure Clear Liquid Protein....where abouts do u get it?
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any special place where they buy this....and if you do not buy this, do you have any other recommendations?
I was sampling all the choices yesterday at my nutrition consulation and really liked the taste of the Isopure....
What did you all drink right after surgery?
Thanks for all your advice and tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bethany, you can get Isopure Clear Protein drinks at any GNC store.....I also enjoyed them post op - I liked the Fruit Punch flavor the most and the Grape Frost the least..........They are a bit expensive.....Good luck to you!
(If you get a GNC card - free - you get a percentage off the first 7 days of the month........)
Hope this helps-

Hola,
Right after surgery I had the "punch" Isopure (red one). My nutritionist told me to do half Isopure and half water and drink it like that. I liked it. It wasn't too bad.
How far away is Granby from Bridgeport? I have about 4 - 6 bottles of it in my pantry that I'm not going to drink. I have moved on to vanilla or chocolate unjury protein shake and I LOVE IT. If you're interested you're welcomed to them.

Hi,
When I had my surgeryI drank the isopure. I really liked it. After awhile i got sick of the aftertaste. I am glad I did not buy them in large quantities. After surgery my taste buds changed alot. I am now drinking Optisource shakes and Profect. At my nutrition visit I decided that I would do one thing, but it turns out that this is Trial & Error.

Bethany:
I drank the Isopure clear drinks occasionally. I did not really like the aftertast. It will not fill you up though (or at least not me). I got it at GNC and sometimes they have it on sale because it is pretty expensive. I drink the low carb Slim Fast still and I like it. It is pretty hit or miss on the protein drinks and bars. I would get a few different ones and see what you like. Remember you tastes will probibly change post-op too.
Best of luck to you.

I have three bottles myself, Apple Melon, Grape Frost, and Alpine Punch. Want them? You can have them for free, I'm not that far away and can meet or drop them off somewhere inbetween.
I did not like the Isopure myself, but some folks love it. I'd recommend you try them in small quantities as they are not cheap and you may not like them after a month or so. I picked mine up at the GNC in Bristol on Rt 6, but you can get them at GNC stores anywhere.
