Hi Kim, AS I was reading your note, I couldn't help but rejoice with you when I read: "I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT BEING ABLE TO WALK AROUND THE PARK AND NOT GET TIRED OR OVERHEATED EITHER, IT WAS SUCH A GREAT FEELING. I EVEN AFTER MANY, MANY YEARS WENT ON A FEW RIDES WITH MY DAUGHTER." Kim, I can only imagine how this must feel for you. Last summer, was the time that I had to write off any further amusement park rides. It happened after I rode "The Hulk" (a high speed roller coaster, with all kinds of high velocity twists and turns and a few 360 degree loops, with my then 14 year old son. I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS. But when the attendant tried to secure me in the seat, the shoulder harness would not snap in place. I ultimately had to hold my breath, while he tried pressing down with all of his 150 lb.+/- body frame, until it snapped in place. My only fear during the time was that he was going to say, sorry sir, your too big for this ride. But the harness finally snapped in place, but now I was unable to release my stomach and chest sufficiently so that I could breathe freely. Who rides on a roller coaster without being able to breathe freely? NO ONE! Anyway, this is now one of my principal objectives, if I get approved for the surgery this year, guess where you will find me next year: Yep, you guessed it at a Six Flags amusement park, standing in line for any and all roller coaster rides. So, I am so happy for you that you and your daughter were able to spend such precious time together, being entertained and simultaneously taking your life into your hands just for the sake of saying we had a good time at the park. I wish you many more, healthy, strong, and safe days. I wish you many more amusement park trips and rides with your daughter. Why should our kids suffer, just because we are physically incapable of riding with them? CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 38 BMI AND I WISH YOU MANY LOWER BMI'S TO COME. Ken P.

Hey Kim, Thanks for getting roll call started. I had a busy day yesterday. Worked and then went up to Burlingame Campground in RI to visit friends who were camping (I am not a camper!). Had a pedicure today, and cleaning, etc. Tomorrow a friend from work is bringing her family to play with my dogs. So just a "chill" weekend, which is what I need! Congrats on your 95 lbs Kim that is AWESOME Keep it goin' xoxoxo JA
