I GOT A JOB OFFER!!
I'm so excited, I can hardly sit still. I'm still amazed at how your life changes after this surgery.
To start off, I quit my job 2 weeks ago. One of the supervisors for the company was giving me a really, really hard time. A real nasty person. I told her I wouldn't tolerate her actions and told human resources. They told me that they know she's horrible, but there's nothing they can do about it (their hands are tied because of a relationship she has with someone within the company). So.....I quit. Without another job.
I just had an interview with Healthtrax in Newington. They called me this morning and offered me a job within their center, full time, decent pay. I'll be doing community outreach also within our town, to teach kids about obesity and also any adults that are interested.
This is something I've always felt passionate about, but could never do at 272 pounds. Now it's my turn to help others, like I have been helped.
It's overwhelming. I never could have imagined how much my life could have changed for the positive. Finally, that person that was suffocated so much by my fat is able to come out and be free.
Thanks for letting me share this with you all. And I have a bunch of free passes if anyone wants any! ha ha!
Love,
Tammy
Tammy,
Thats wonderful news sweetie, good for you. Getting out of a negative place was the best thing you could of did for yourself both mentally and physically. Take it from me. I quit my job of 5 years at a CPA firm 2 years ago and my whole life has changed for the better. I work in a wonderful place now with very nice people, it makes it worthwhile to get up in the morning to go to work.
Good luck with the new job and keep up the good work, you look absolutely beautiful and sound very happy too. Lots of love to you and your family and God Bless.
Hugs
KimC

Hi Tammy,
I met you at my last support group meeting in dec (i'm sure you don't remember me). Your were about 3 weeks post op. I had my surgery on Jan. 10th and I've lost 60 lbs. and I feel great.
I wanted to tell you that I saw your new picture and You look beautiful.
Iwouldn't have recongnized you.
I'm going to try to go to the next meeting, I guess on Monday and I hope to see you there. I haven't been on the board since I had surgery so I have alot of catching up to do and I hope to finally meet Kathy.
See you soon,
Cindy
