WOW moment!!!
Hi everyone (back home in CT),
Just wanted to let everyone know that I had my surgery 5 weeks ago and as of today, I have lost 48 pounds and dropped from a 22/24 to an 18!!!!!! YEAY!!!!! It felt so good to get into my old clothes that I had loved and I didn't think twice about packing up the newer larger clothes that I have out-grown! I feel GREAT!!!!!

Hi PC,
Congratulations!
I'm still on the exploration list, just trying to figure which of two surgeons will do my RNY, and I can't wait to get to where you are...5 weks post-op and down 6 clothing sizes. WOW! I can only imagine your glee.
I just gave away bagfulls of suits and slacks to Goodwill the other day, because it has been years since I was able to even fit an arm into them. But I have reserved some clothing for that wonderful day when, stuff that I could only look at and lament about will be able to fit again.
But even more so, I look forward to the day when I will be able to fit into a size 40 or 42 suit, which is the size I wore when I got married 29 years ago. Shoot! I might even ask my wife to join me at the altar again, since I'll be a brand new person, and I wouldn't want her to be confused about who she is married to.
And after that, we might as well have a reception, because I haven't danced
in years.
So, continue to celebrate!
Celebrate! And dance,
. You've got every reason to rejoice. Celebrate not only the loss of weight, but celebrate your prolonged life
. Celebrate your ability to do and go places that you had previously restricted yourself from going; or felt unwelcomed from attending. It's a new day for you PC, and a new life...enjoy it ALL!
Peace,
Ken P.
