Tag sale question...
I am a tag sale pro, I've gone every Saturday for years now. I have had my share of them too...
Clothes are hit or miss. If I have one, I don't do clothes anymore, they just don't go. I donate them now.
If you are going to sell them, here are a few tips.
*make sure they are clean, fresh smelling clothes without wrinkles and funny smells go better.
*hang them up, it is easier to rifle through them when they are hung.
*if the size tag is hard to see, put the size on the price tag.
As with any yard sale, mark everything. It really urks me to no end when I go to a sale, nothing is marked, and they make the prices up on the spot, or say, give me a price? No, give me a price! I'll bargain from there.
Always mark things a bit higher than what you want for it. Leave room for bargaining, I love doing this!
And last, don't be surprised if you don't sell the clothes. Sometimes you may get someone in who knows what they are worth and realizes a bargain. But people are trying to get things for almost nothing at tag sales, so don't be disappointed.
Good luck!
