I am still in the process of learning about wls surgery and will be going to an information session soon but I just wanted to let you know how much this site, and especially this message board has helped me make this decision to have surgery. Hi Kathy, I just read Stacey M.'s response to you. In it she mentioned a newspaper article where you and your surgeon were mentioned. I'd love to read it. Is it posted on a website somewhere, or do you have the weblink for the newspaper that originally published it? Thanks, Ken P.

Thanks Kathy. You have already helped me more than you know. The newspaper article on you and Dr. A was the first thing that made me realize that this was what I needed also. Until I heard your story, I had heard nothing but bad things about wls and how the risks outweighed the benefits. Since doing more research I now realize even with the risks, nothing outweighs the benefits. Hope we meet at a support meeting someday!
