TT
Hi Susan,
Dr. Aranow did a TT and hernia repair for me in mid November and I am really pleased with the results. There are no 'dog ears' or 'chicken beaks' that I keep reading about on here. He also threw in a mons lift that was unexpected but wonderful! He did my open RNY in June of 2005 and after losing 170 lbs, I started to check into a TT. I did do a consult with a plastic surgeon, but the price really set my time frame back, plus I was told that he didn't do hernia repair so I would need another surgeon there as well. Dr. Aranow's follow up care was great as usual for him and his price can't be beat, especially if you have a hernia that your insurance will cover but no coverage for the TT. I hope this helps,
Cindy

Nope. He did my gall bladder in August. He is a general surgeon and according to OH 95% of what he does is WLS. I know I had a appointment canceled once cause he had to do an emergency appendectomy on a teen. It's nice to know he does all types so I can go back to him for whatever and not have to worry about someone trying to "fix" my insides when nothing is wrong cause they don't know what I should look like.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.
