Not to gross out anyone on the message board by talking about feminine issues, but my PMS has gotten a bit harsh lately, but my stomach obviously cannot handle the cravings. How do you all deal with it? On a positive note, my menstral cycle has gotten a lot better since the surgery. More on the average, you would say. So for that, I am THANKFUL!!! Love, Tammy 91 pounds gone forever.

Tammy, Don't have the cravings, but I get real bad periods like I was young again. The bleeding is very heavy too. So I am the opposite of you. I guess our weight loss is changing everything. Well congrats on your 91lbs so far sweetie, great job. I am on 95lbs so far in 6mths. Feels wonderful doesn't it. Hugs KimC

I'm glad that we can all be close enough to talk about these things! lol I'm afraid that I am in the same boat as Kim, my period is just as harsh at times now as it was when I was in my early teens. And without being able to take pain meds like I used to (like 800 mg at a time) its been rough. But on the positive side, it is much more regular now which means that when the time comes I should be able to conceive, which didn't seem like an option before. As for cravings, I don't have those but I would think that a little bit of something once a month shouldn't hurt.

Hi Tammy, My problem is I crave anything fried...it's the weirdest thing. I recognize that I can't have that type of food..so I try something else like low fat/fat free refried beans with low fat shredded cheese. If it's "sweet" then I try a little sugar free pudding or sugar free fudge pops..there's ways of getting around the cravings...my favorite is a little banana dipped in the sugar free chocolate pudding... WOW! 91lbs is an AMAZING accomplishment! I can only imagine how good it feels to have that much weight off! Your an inspiration...that someday I'll be at that much weight loss too! There isn't much change with my cycle since my surgery in April...same amount of days, still very crampy (I think even more so now.) and definately still bloated, cranky, crabby, and headachey. Don't you just love being a gal? LOL \ Take Care, Mickey
