A Little Angst:

MOM, You are going to do just fine, you have the strength as well as the support to get through this. I will be there with you to encourage you to listen to you to cry with you. I know this is the right thing for you. You are a strong person inside and out. I can't wait to see you healthy again to be able to move around again. Betty: Best of luck to you!!! Dr.Bell is wonderful and so supportive. You are in the best hands possible. I had my surgery with Dr.Bell a year ago tomorrow (7/26/04). It was the best thing I ever did for myself. I too was nervous before hand but the day of surgery I felt good. I did my homework and had faith in Dr.Bell and God that all would work out & it did. Betty, This is the best thing you can ever do for YOU! I had my surgery one yr. ago 7/21 with Dr. Bell. He is awesome. He's an extremely talented surgeon and will follow you for the rest of your "new" life. Think of your surger day, as the first day of your "new" life. I cannot begin to tell you about all the wonderful things you will experience after the surgery. Don't get me wrong, the first two weeks are tough, but after that, it's fine. Just think that if you "don't" or didn"t have the surgery, your life would be cut short and you would never know quality life!!!! Leave the surgery to God and he will bring you through. Let me say that going into a store and buying a size 12, is a BLESSING, I have to pinch myself and you will also. Besides, you get off work (smile) Don't think twice, as the surgery is not a real painful surgery, and everyday things get so much better, and the results... well you will be able to look at a mirror and never stop..
