ROLL CALL - TGIF

Hi..I am new here! I had my consult with Dr. Aranow and now am starting the psych eval, nutritionist, and I have to have an upper GI -my first appointment of these is next week. I have worked HARD this week - resting and am getting my hair highlighted tomorrow and then over to a friends to do scrapbooking/hang out. My kids will be with their Dad. JA: You are doing GREAT!!! Can you believe a whole year flew by? My 1 year will be tuesday 7/26. My appt. with Dr.Bell got move to friday of next week but that is OK. I FINALLY hit my goal weight and lost 100 pounds as of today!!! I would love to have a Spa party but I will need to wait until the fall. I do love the products though. The scrub was awesome. Anyway...I am currently having a pity party for 1 right now. I had my upper endoscopy this afternoon. MORE bad news. The Dr. saw ulscerated tissue where the end of my pouch and my intestines meet. He took a biopsy and I have to wait for the results but he did say I made a good call for pushing for the test. It looks like the section of intestine was not getting the correct amount of blood flow. So now Dr.Bell & Dr.Salem will probibly need to both operate on me. Hopefully we can do it all at the same time. I just feel like how much more crappy luck can 1 person take. I must have really pissed someone off in a previous life or something. I have been on vacation this past week and spent 90% of it in bed not feeling well. Saterday as long as I feel up to it I have errunds to run and then sunday is a kid's birthday party and then a friend's baby shower. Back to work monday.... I hope everyone has a great weekend. Chryssie, Thanks for your support, and NO I cannnnnnotttt believe it's been a year! I had my appt. with Dr. Bell on Fri. He told me to tell you to let him know when you're in the hospital, so he could stop by. He also said that if he lived in Alaska, he would fly in to have Dr. Salem do his surgery...so that is very reassuring. I am sooooo sorry you are going through all this garbage!!! But the good thing is you lost your 100 lbs!!!! Keep me posted, and I will be your for this surgery, if you'll have me OK? xoxoxoxo JA PS When you're feeling better, we'll do a spa party for you and you can be the one that I demonstrate on okay? xoxoxo

Hey Ja, Sorry I am late with the roll call. Its been a crazy week at work, we had our senior center picnic on Tuesday and lots of things to do this week with getting our newsletter out and doing flyers for our activities for the month of August. Its the end of the month this week and all my reports are due. We are getting ready for our family vacation the first week of August. We are taking Erin to Great Adventure on Saturday the 30th. I can't wait to go, its been a while since we have gone to a park and I am hoping to be able to go on a ride and fit in a seat. Our vacation is mostly day trips and doing painting inthe house too. Not a real exciting one this year, but next year we hope to do DisneyWorld. Saturday went to a family picnic/surprise party for my cousin's motherinlaw. It was such a beautiful day and I got to wear my new bathingsuit, I was so excited, I had so much fun in the pool with the kids and being able to sit in the sun and enjoy it. Today was a vegout day, my teeth are still killing me from Thursday, have to get two crowns in two weeks and he did alot of drilling a put temporary crowns. Gave me vicadin and it makes me so tired, so slept most of the day. We took Erin to my mom and dads to stay for a few days, she was so excited. Well back to work tomorrow.
