I used the Yale residency program for my extended tt with muscle tightening and for my neck and arm lifts.  I love Dr Persing and the rates are very reasonable.

You are talking about the Yale Plastic's Clinic, right??  Dr. Bell had recommended several surgeons for me but also mentioned that the clinic was great and much cheaper. 
Do you mind my asking how much the TT was??    I'm not sure at this point if insurance will pay anything for me so cost is somewhat of a factor and I've been holding out to make sure I have enough sick time to use from my job.... I don't want to use my vacation time if I don't have to.

I had my tt over 2 years ago and it was 4k at the time, I have no idea what the price is now, I took off 12 days of work.  Its a residency program, which means the residents perform the surgery under the guidance of the chief of staff Dr Persing.  I used them also for my neck lift and arm surgery.

Thanks for the info.  Dr. Bell had given me Dr. Persing's card and told me to also ask about the residency/clinic because Dr. Thompson is out on sabatical.  My interest is definately peaked as I can get more bang for the buck there and I absolutely loved the care I got at Yale for my RNY with the exception of one nurse.  All the residents were awesome. 

I know several people that have had their plastic's done by Dr. Consiglione out of Hartford Hospital and they all love him and his work. Although Hartford hospital is a little far for me, I have an appointment with him on March 16. Now after hearing about the good things about Dr. Borkowski I'm thinking of making an appointment with him and get his opinion too.

Hi Rich,   Thanks for your info, but Hartford is just a bit to far away for me.  Now have several doctors to call that have been recommended by the wonderful people on this board.  ...Guess I'm really scared and nervous about the whole thing and want to make sure I have the best doctor for me.  Gonna call Dr. Borkowski today too...   Good luck with your surgery and thanks for your reply.  JoanS

If you're still looking... I would consider Dr. Pan.  I had a TT and BL this past May with her and the results were amazing.  The scars were extremely fine lines that are barely noticeable now.  She's very caring and easy to talk to.  I had over seven hours of surgery and woke up feeling great.  I stayed at the New Haven Hotel across from the Temple Medical Center - but really could have gone home.  If I ever do anything else I'll use her again.
