Saturday's Summer Picnic Update

Hello there WLS Family: I am here as your activities director to inform you of the agenda for the day on July 16th at Harkness Park. I have alot of fun things planned for all ages so take a look and be ready to have a blast!! AGENDA FOR THE DAY: 11:00 am Picnic Starts Sign in at Welcome Table and Get Your Name Tag Purchase some raffle tickets 11:45 am Kathy K. will welcome and thank everyone involved, some people may tell their stories. 12:00 pm Kathy K. will get the Photo Game Guessing started Purchase raffle tickets 12:30 pm Start eating and socializing with everyone, share your stories, have fun all day!! 3:00 pm Raffle Drawing will be done for great prizes that were donated. All monies will go to Obesity Awareness Walk We have prizes like plant stands, handmade jewelry, handmade afghans, side caps, bodyshop gifts, and marykay gifts and many others. ACTIVITIES: Facepainting Temporary Tattoos Nail Polish Stations GAMES FOR THE DAY: 2:00 pm Potato Sack Race 3:00 pm Three Legged Race 4:00 pm Freeze Dance Contest Games for smaller children like tag, telephone, one-two-three redlight, simon says, kite flying, fishing, ball playing, etc. Games for all ages like Frizbees, Badmitten, Kite flying, fishing, Horseshoes, bocce, volleyball, baseball, softball, etc. There will be appropriate signs up letting you know where the activities are and a schedule will be up with time for the three contest games. All prizes awarded whether you win or just participate. We want the children to have fun. So am looking forward to seeing alot of my wls family there on Saturday July 16th at 11am at Harkness Park in Waterford. Come on and join all of us for a wonderful day with friends and family. Hey Maggie, So far we are on for Saturday, Kathy and I are going to keep notice until Friday, we will post very Early on Saturday morning if its really bad out to let everyone know. I heard just alittle bit of rain, but then the sun will be out. Keep your fingers crossed. I am putting the rosary beads on my door. Its an italian custom, my grandmother did it for my wedding day. Hi Kim Thank you fpr post this events for me. The party must be this Saturday because many people emailed me privately that they cannot make on July 30th so I pray to god for giving us a nice weather on our special day and I got email from my hometown newspaper. The reporter who is my friend might to come up to put some pictures of all of WLS people in my hometown newspaper SMILE! I will psot alot of WLS Party signs everywhere on the road for people to find it to follow the sign to that place. Cannot wait to see you SAturday morning.
