Tues. Support Group Meetings

Hi, All! Since Mon. is the 4th of July, the Hamden support group which usually meets on the 1st Mon. of the month will be meeting on Tues., July 5th, at the Senior Center (behind the Miller Library on Dixwell Ave.) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The group isn't affiliated with any particular doctor or hospital and is for both pre- and post-ops. There's going to be a speaker at the meeting, Derek Jennings, a post-op *****cently spoke at the support group meeting at the Hospital of St. Raphael. I wasn't there, but I've been told by several people who were there that everyone loved his multimedia presentation. Also on Tues. evening is the monthly post-op only support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Most attendees are patients of Dr. Aranow, but any post-op is welcome. Since I can't be in 2 places at the same time (actually, 3 places, since my divorce support group meets on Tues. nights from 7 to 8 p.m in New Haven), I have to choose one. I'm going to be at the Middlesex meeting and am planning on dinner out afterward. Does anyone want to join us? If you need directions to either meeting, please e-mail me. Debby
