On January 14th I will be coming up on my first surgeversary.  I am down in weight and all of my numbers (bloodwork etc) are great.  It has been quite a journey.  I have been lucky enough to not have one minute of trouble related to my surgery.  For anyone who is beginning to look into it I would not tell you it is the only way to go.  I would however tell you that you should definitely do your homework and... don't believe all of the horror stories.  Good luck to all.

Congrats on your one year out....you've worked hard and it has paid off for  you.  And, I'm so glad that it's been smooth sailing thus far.  Keep up the good work!
