local meetings

Can someone tell if there are support group meetings close to Waterford? I had my surgery at St. Rapheals and I keep missing them because I get out of work to late. I thought if there was something closer I would save time on travel.

It may not be much closer, but we have great support meetings at Middlesex Hospital. Have you tried L & M or Backus? ~Robin

Laurie, I thought I have seen previous meeting posts @ Mohegan Sun. I don't live in that area, but the casino caught my eye! Good luck! Kelly

I hope someone posts when the next local meetings are, because I so want to go to one to. I haven't been to one in almost a year and I want to so bad. I miss all my CT WLS friends. Maggie

I understand that L&M has one. I had my surgery in California so I haven't had any follow ups or support in 6 months. I just can't leave work to drive all the way to new haven and beg a surgeon to follow me. Apparently the military doctors here are totally stupid and have no idea what to do with me or what test they should run.......There is also one at Mohegan Sun.
