I Have Great News

I received a call from my cardiologist last night and my pictures from my stress test were fine. She said the changes in the EKGs might have been from getting my heart rate up. She even cleared me to fly, so Mike and I will be going away for our anniversary at the end of July. I am still having some chest pressure/pain and will continue to persue that and see if it's something gastro. I see Deb at Dr. Valin's office on the 13 so I'll talk to her and see what she thinks. Thanks to all of you who offered all of your kind words, prayers and support. It meant so much and was greatly appreciated. Hugs, Maggie

Maggie, Even though I do not post often, I have been following your story. What wonderful news from your cardiologist. What a relief. Enjoy the vacation you will be taking with your husband. You guys deserve it after all the worrying and stress you two have been through. Not really related, but do all 7-11's have the crystal light slurpees? What flavors have you tried and can recommend? Thanks Marcia. Not all the 7 11 s I have found have the slurpees. I know they come in two flavors. Peach Mango and Raspberry Ice. I have only tried the peach mango so far and I like it till it melts and then it gets too sweet. Hope to see you post more often. Maggie

We are headed up to northern California to relax with some friends and go to a garlic festival. Apparently it is a really big deal there. I met my friend Sherry on another board and she has had the surgery as well. This will be our first time meeting since meeting online over a year ago. Maggie
